Kibler & Kirch’s Jeremiah Young: Themes for 2017 9

Jeremiah Young is creative director of Kibler & Kirch. He has pinpointed five interior inspirations and themes that encapsulate the top looks for this year. These themes work together in a unique blend to create an exclusive feel and collective vibrancy.

For 2017, Young’s picks include accenting with brass through furnishings like hooks and cocktail table finishes. He also is keeping his eyes open for opportunities to highlight décor with the rustic feel of nailheads. Next, he loves the incorporation of the themes of custom mosaic tile.

Also among his top five themes is the selection and display of well-crafted handmade rugs. Finally, he recommends tying together the look and feel of spaces by featuring original artwork and frames. In this year’s selection, Young has picked art from Stapleton Gallery. View the full Stapleton collection at

Here are the themes Jeremiah Young loves for 2017:

  • Brass accents
  • Nail Heads
  • Mosaic Tile
  • Handmade Rugs
  • Original Artwork & Framing

“I’m never following trends too closely, but our design work right now seems full of great photos and art with interesting frames as well as amazing rugs, custom mosaic tile, liberal use of nail heads and touches of brass. We love the way these things come together to give life to a space. Mixing things up unexpectedly is what we do best!”
