Who are you?

Katie Bennett, owner and lead florist at Mac’s Floral. Montana born and raised, I love our little community.

What’s your passion?

Art in any form and, of course, flowers! Over the years, I have learned to appreciate blooms for all their intricacies, how strong they are, their meaning and so much more. They are like people—some are big and bold, some are dainty and delicate. But most importantly, I am passionate about people and being kind to the earth.

Describe a goal for the community.

I just want to connect people. I find myself so often saying “You need to meet this person!”

Nicole King

Who are you?

Nicole King, broker and listing specialist for 41 Realty Group at Heavenly Homes.

What’s your passion?

In a sense, constant improvement, of myself and my community. It gets me really excited to learn people’s stories—to hear where they have come from, where they are now and where they want to be in the future. I’m honored to play even a small role in helping them realize their dreams.

Describe a goal for the community.

Every year, my real estate team works with local nonprofits to help raise awareness and funds. We’ve arranged a variety of opportunities for them to increase awareness.

Katherine Hedges, hair and makeup artist for over 20 years, and owner of Aqua Studio and Salon.

What’s your passion?

I love to help people find their inner beauty and passion. Beauty to me has always been far deeper than what’s visible. I love to teach and help people find what’s already inside of themselves and to know someone believes in them. Live fully and live beautifully.

Describe a goal for the community.

Gathering women from all ages together to inspire, motivate and energize. The beauty world is a strong influencer—let’s use it to make a positive and powerful impact.

Who are you?

Lisa Woods, owner of Woods Accounting.

What’s your passion?

I love being able to help people—to help people get the best return for taxes and plan for the future. I love to help businesses with their payroll/bookkeeping so they can focus on what they went into business for.

Describe a goal for the community.

I am active with my business in the community and with my husband’s business, Bricks & Minifigs. We sponsor activities and help donate time and items to various functions. I want to get more involved in the community with both businesses and to help more people.

Taryn Plouffe

Who are you?

Taryn Plouffe, owner of Belle en Blanc Bridal Boutique, providing brides-to-be with the most memorable experience when finding their perfect wedding gown.

What’s your passion?

I want brides to feel their most beautiful while shopping. My passion is providing this experience while also building relationships and long-lasting memories. A wedding dress is the most important garment a woman will ever wear.

Describe a goal for the community.

To provide a clean, healthy atmosphere in downtown Billings to shop and attend events, provide jobs, donate dresses to local nonprofits, and help with costs of a wedding dress for families struggling financially.

 

The Mother

Erin McCall

Who are you?

Erin McCall, wife and mother of four beautiful children.

What’s your passion?

My passion is people. I try to walk out that passion with “speaking life,” giving words to build up, encourage and comfort people. My husband and I love to encourage couples in their marriages. I equip my children to see the world through the lens of serving others, compassion, love, mercy and grace.

Describe a goal for the community.

My hope is people around me feeling loved, seen, heard, encouraged and lifted up. Life-giving words and prayer are powerful tools to change our community for the good.

The architect and owner of Restor Design + Build, an architect-led design-build firm here in Billings.

What’s your passion?

The chance that exists in each day to connect with people—to talk about personal topics, mutual passions, things that inspire each of us differently.

Describe a goal for the community.

My goal is to make a difference in my community. I want to be known as someone who gets things done, no matter what the task or the ask. I want my community to rely on me as a cheerleader, an advocate or a kick in the butt when needed.
